Chilli con carne

  • 1 red onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes with tomato sauce
  • 5 pieces of dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 can of red beans in a brine 200 g drained and rinsed
  • about 100 ml of beef stock
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • salt pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large frying pan, heat the oil and fry the onion, add the garlic, chilli, cumin and oregano. Fry for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  2. Add minced beef. Fry with spices for a few minutes.
  3. Add paprika and fry for a while, add sun-dried tomatoes and mix thoroughly. Season with pepper and salt. Add the broth.
  4. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add drained and rinsed red beans and cook covered for a few minutes. Remove the lid and cook until a thick sauce is formed.
