Chicken breast in tomato sauce

For the chicken breast
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed
To season the breasts
  • 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
For the sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato puree
  • 250 g chestnut mini mushrooms
  • 200 f of ripe cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of tagine paste
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • a pinch of red paprika
  • 1/2 cup of broth

Method
 

For the chicken breast
  1. Mix all spices and rub them thoroughly on the meat. Set aside for 1 hour. After this time, pour the oil into the pan and fry the chicken breast on it until golden brown, on both sides. Remove from the pan
For the sauce
  1. In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and fry on each side. Then add the tomatoes until they start to crack for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the stock, season with pepper and a pinch of red paprika, then bring to the boil. Add chicken breasts and simmer for about 20 minutes. Finally, add the tagine paste. Mix.
  3. Serve as desired.
